About the Item
A Moroccan Moorish style drinks table from the early 20th century, with painted geometric motifs, hexagonal top, polychrome décor and carved flaming motifs. Created in Morocco during the first quarter of the 20th century, this petite side table captures our attention with its elegant silhouette and beautifully hand-painted décor. The table features a mesmerizing hexagonal top, painted with geometric motifs surrounding a central star from which everything seems to radiate. The hexagonal body is adorned with recessed motifs reminiscent of flaming-shaped windows with bouquets of flowers in their center and petite turned balusters in their lower section. The table is raised on six solid legs connected to one another through carved flaming motifs and painted with foliages. Highly recognizable for its abundant décor leaving no space empty, charming polychromy and skillfully carved body, this Moroccan Moorish style table circa 1920 will make for a lovely drinks table placed in a living room or under a covered patio, perhaps placed next to a bergère chair or a sofa.
