This church pedestal is not only beautiful in its classical Gothic design, it also is a real eye-catcher because of its large size. The alpha and omega as the first and last letter in the Greek alphabet are here of course used as symbols for their religious significance. So are the bird and cross which to collectors and devouts need no explanation. This sizable and highly stylish antique is another one of our recent great finds and it is the perfect stand for a sculpture, a bust, a vase, a plant or a crucifix. This antique from the Arts and Crafts era is as stable as the day it was made, it is in very good to excellent condition, it has a remarkable patina and because of its timeless design it will look wonderful in all kinds of interiors.
