About the Item
A most impressive pair of antique Italian Neo-classical style parcel gilt and faux marble painted wood pedestal cabinets with nicely aged distressed patina.
Born in Italy in the 19th century, high-quality solid wooden construction, exceptionally executed verde green marbleized finish, having a tall square column case with single cupboard door, opening to reveal shelved interior, the door panel decorated with central serpentine wrapped torch motif, rising on stepped base.

Condition Report:
Very strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound. Presents well, with worn heavily distressed chippy paint patina. Retaining original antique character marks and rustic old world European charm throughout, including scattered nicks, scuffs, scratches, old touchups, and chippy paint losses. Typical wear consistent with age. Later hardware. Delivered cleaned, waxed, ready for immediate use!
