About the Item
This stunning Art Deco Gueridon table was realized in France circa 1935. It features a four-pointed base in bookmatched walnut capped on the ends with brushed nickel sabots. Four streamlined supports ascend upwards in black lacquer where they connect with the circular top in walnut (showcasing the dramatic natural grain bookmatched in a starburst patter). With its iconically Art Deco materials (walnut and lacquer) and motifs (such as the streamlined supports), this piece is sure to delight discerning collectors of the period as well as those with a penchant for all things exquisite. It would be a winning addition to any style of interior from traditional to contemporary. It has been newly restored to mint condition.
