English George II Period Chippendale Mahogany Ball and Claw Foot Card Table Rare mid eighteenth century George II mahogany triple top card table opens to reveal a playing surface. This important period table is a triple top version of the card table, it features surfaces for both a game table and a tea table of the finest quality. It stands on four beautifully carved cabriole legs with acanthus knees terminating in well formed ball and claw feet. This exceptional game table is as functional as it is beautiful. It boasts a simple and elegant design. The mahogany table is in very good condition with rich color throughout. The hinges are in perfect working order with a smooth action. Wear consistent with age and use. Measurements: Closed - W 33” x D 17” x H 29” Open - Diameter 33” x H 28”
