Equal parts beauty and functionality this extraordinary extension dining table is constructed from a mix solid and matchbook-veneered Burmese teak with exceptional old-growth woodgrains. Featuring a cleverly designed stow-in-table, double butterfly leaf design this exquisite table extends effortlessly to a maximum length of 98.5 inches easily accommodating up to ten guests when fully extended or six when not extended.
Though this alluring dining table does show some signs of wear (as seen in the detail photos provided) it still has so much to offer. As aesthetically pleasing as it is versatile this one of a kind dining table is a true work of functional art. Replete with exceptional variegated woodgrains, intricate joinery and a clever space-saving design this table is sure to make a BOLD impression in any space it inhabits be it in home or office spaces. This exceptional dining table has undergone a partial restoration with minor veneer repairs being the bulk of the work done. However there are some remaining signs of vintage wear on the mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak such as some veneer bubbling (which can be seen clearly in the detail photos and video provided) as well as some minor areas of discoloration/water stains associated with the veneer bubbling. With that said the teak is in overall good condition and still has much left to offer.
The table effortlessly expands and contracts via a clever, all-wood slider system. The double butterfly leaf easily flips over and out creating a third more additional dining space in mere seconds. Expanding up to 98.5" this table can accommodate up to ten guests comfortably when fully extended.
