Early 19th Century White Pine Gate Leg Drop Leaf Table from Sweden
About the Item
There is wonderful charisma to this gate leg table due to the scraped finish of the original white paint and soft, warm patina of the aged pine underneath.
This style of drop leaf table was common in Sweden, as they were experts in utilizing small spaces well.
The table leaves open and rest on two gate legs on each side. When closed, the table is only 13.25" deep yet it expands to 65" when fully opened. With only one leaf opened, the table is 38.5".
This delightful pine drop leaf table has been restored, it is sturdy and ready to use and enjoy.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this table.
