Large Oval Marble Dining Table with Column Legs in the style of Mario Bellini
About the Item
This minimalist table is made from one material, featuring an oval horse track top in blue / grey / cream veined marble that elegantly sits on four cylindrical columns.
Drawing inspiration from the vintage pieces of Mario Bellini, the column legs slightly taper in, giving this table a sculptural feel with subtle details.
The piece is pictured in a honed finish however it is also available in a polished finish which enhances the richness of the beautiful natural colour and vibrant veining.
The craftsmanship here is unique, working with blocks of stone (vs. slabs), allowing these solid and sculptural forms to come to life.
This item is available made-to-order in custom dimensions or various natural stones (shown in other store front listings)
The legs can be placed freely under the top and arranged as you desire for ultimate functional use. The top and legs are packed separately for ease of transport and installation.
The collection came to life after designer/founder Alexandra found that sourcing the perfect vintage pieces for her clients and projects was becoming increasingly tricky. Getting it ‘just right’ often felt like a miracle, so she set out to create a collection of tables that still upheld the solid forms and sculptural shapes she was always hunting for. MY HABITAT DESIGN works closely with stone artisans to create a collection of stone tables combining traditional techniques and rare ways of working with solid stone.
