Japanese Inspired Solid Ash Wooden Dining Table Seats 20, Custom
About the Item
IN STOCK, ready for delivery. Custom built by expert furniture maker, Allen Fulmer. If Imoshen studio. This rectangle dining table is made of quarter sawn solid Ash. It is a Japanese inspired all natural 20 person dining table with Japanese joinery detail. The table is made up of two tops that are joined together with an overlapping joint called a Kanawa-Tsugi. This joint is used in Japanese timberframing to extend structural beams, or repair posts. In this case, the joint lengthens the table to appear as one. Included are photos of the joinery included in the table base, making this table rock solid. Virtually unused. It can be taken apart for moving. It would also make for an excellent conference table for a business.
