About the Item

Designed in the 1960s by celebrated Danish designer Henning Kjærnulf, this solid oak dining table is a striking example of his distinctive blend of traditional craftsmanship and bold Scandinavian character. Crafted from robust, high-quality light oak, the table has a beautifully sculpted presence, showcasing Kjærnulf’s signature attention to detail. The standout feature is undoubtedly the ornately carved legs, with their turned, baluster-like profiles that add a sense of movement and classical elegance. These robust legs contrast charmingly with the table’s otherwise restrained and practical form, with the black hardware adding a touch of boldness to the light tone of the table. This table comfortably seats four with two additional leaves at 50cm wide each extending the total length to 221cm.
