This spacious table is built on two pillars, each one shaped by the soft curves of inverted flutes, mimicking a gateway with an open and inviting form.
Available in three colors.
Architect CARLOS MEZA holds a B.A. from Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia and an M.A. in Advanced Studies Design from Pratt Institute in New York City. In 2005, Meza was awarded a commission to design a public library for the city of Villanueva, Colombia. The project has been widely praised in journals as well as national and international publications, including an honorable mention in the Colombian Architecture Biennale. Meza has also designed projects in China, the United States and worked as 3D Modeling and Digital Fabrication adjunct professor at Cooper Union University in NYC (2014-2016).
BLACKTABLE Studio was born in 2013 as Carlos Meza’s personal response to the corporate architectural life he experienced in his first years living in New York.
