Scandinavian Veneered Biedermeier Writing Desk with Lyres
About the Item
A small mahogany and walnut veneered table or writing desk with brass holders in the lyres formed sides. The top is provided with inlaid green leather; the drawers have divided small compartments. The small table has brass lists decorating all around the desk. The lock and the hardware are original and the key is working.
The desk is most likely Swedish or Danish Biedermeier.
