About the Item
Mid-century two tone walnut and leather flip top desk/dresser.
Designed by Peter Hayward as part of the M' range for UNIFLEX Furniture GB, circa 1950.
This UNIFLEX wood and leather desk is representative of the design trends in compact and multi use home decor popular in the 1950s.
Featuring a combination of dual tone wood and leather elements, which gives it a stylish and elegant look.
As a Dresser, it has a flip-top design, meaning the top can be lifted to reveal mirrored lid with storage wells beneath. When in uses as a dresser, the top is secured by means of a hook latch.
Beneath that is a row of 2 drawer compartments in darker toned walnut veneer and with sleek little brass handles.
Ideal stand-alone office desk with black leather lined top and neat back.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Offered in very good vintage condition with small signs of age. All drawer interiors clean. Clean leather top without rips. Lovely age patina to the wooden surface. Recently hand waxed and polished to a warm glow.
