Louis Seize Dressing Table, France, early 19th Century

About the Item

A cleverly designed Louis XVI vanity or dressing table. The piece, which can also be used as a desk, is made of mahogany and stands on conical fluted legs with brass castors. The table top is attached with a sliding rail and reveals a white marble top and a large mirror on the inside when opened. This dressing table offers plenty of storage space with three drawers and is decorated with brass profiles. The vanity table has been restored and polished by hand.
