Large Black Desk Files Drawers, Wood Metal, Brazilian Mid-Century Modern Style

About the Item

Marajoara desk with drawers and files (optional) is a study on Mid-Century Modern utilitarian furniture, with Brazilian Native Arte Reference. In tribute to Lina Bo Bardi's design, this desk has a mixed aesthetic of Mid-Century Modernism with a touch of Brazilian Native Culture. It has the quality of modernism, like the efficiency of the form and simplicity; married with unique details inspired by Brazilian Native Marajoara Graphism, and marks of a handcrafted object. The legs line featured seals the movement and form the aesthetic of the desk, while natural materials give sensitive quality and range of color tones. Marajoara is a handcrafted reinterpretation of utilitarian modernist furniture: a work table that leaves the “office” standard, but retains the same functionalities and allows you to hide all the hardware – wires, cables, computer tower, among others –, that pollute the visual environment (option available only upon request). --- IDA Design Award Bronze 2020 --- Shipped assembled.
