Handcrafted English Oak Entry Table Drawers
About the Item
Modernist oak entry console table with drawers designed and produced in England using traditional furniture making techniques. Completely handcrafted from the finest fully quarter-sawn English oak. Hand dovetailed joints to the main oak box and all inner drawer parts. This table is fixed to the wall via screw holes hidden away behind the drawers with the legs providing extra support from the floor. A rock solid and striking piece of modernist furniture that is built to last. Handmade Leather finger pulls - other options are available upon request including a freestanding 4 legged version.
Finished in natural oils.
Legs simply unscrew dismantle/reassemble for extra safe transportation.
We are also able to produce this piece in American Black Walnut - and to custom dimensions/design variations. Please enquire for more details and quotations.

Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
