About the Item
A handcrafted English oak 2 drawer console table. Designed and handmade in England using skilled traditional furniture making techniques. Completely handcrafted from the finest fully quarter-sawn English oak. Hand dovetailed construction joints give additional visual detail to the upper main oak box and all internal drawer parts. The English bridle leather finger pulls can be in Tan, dark Brown or Black. Other wood version handles are available upon request. A distinctive piece of contemporary furniture created in the traditional manner that is built to last.
Hand finished in durable oils.
Custom dimensions will be quoted upon request.
This design is also available in prime American black walnut.

Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is rather costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
