Vintage Italian Metal Etching Coffee Table or Wall Art by G. Urso
About the Item
This coffee table is made etched brass and features varnished metal that mounts to a modern Mahogany structure base. Etching is from Italy by Artist G. Urso.
As shown in last photo the original glue has separated. I have it left it as is in the event a client would like to mount and frame the Etched Brass sheet as a work of art for the wall.
Appears the legs weakened at one time and glue was added. The legs are not perfectly at a 90 degree angle to the floor after they were glued. This of course can be corrected but not necessary.
Some of the original varnish finish in a small area has been lost due to someone cleaning the surface with an inappropriate cleaner.
