Team Form AG for Ronald Schmitt, coffee table model 'K1000', marble and glass, Switzerland, circa 1974.
This beautifully constructed cocktail table designed by Team Form AG for Ronald Schmitt. This piece is made of a solid Carrara marble base and displays a clear glass top. The oval top is attached to the skewed cylindrical base, by two large screws, resulting in an interesting and inventive design that enhances the interplay of gravity and balance. This minimalistic designed cocktail table shows an interesting contrast between the massive stone base and clear glass top.
