English carved wood pedestal side table with all the gentleman’s smoking accoutrements; Herculaneum style urn-form receptacles for matches, cigars and cigarettes on a circular top supported by three columnar carved gilt wash banded legs on circular disc above three out-splayed gilt wash banded ottoman style feet. Remarkably decorative and sculptural addition to a library or Orientalist inspired setting. England, late 19th century
