This extra long, solid teak, "Krobo" table/bench is designed by the Norwegian designer Torbjorn Afdal for Bruksbo Mellemstrands Møbelfabrik, Norway in the 1960s. This Krobo bench that features a raised lip edge is the longest one available at 98.5 inches. It can be used as a coffee table or low stand under a TV or impresive artwork, as well as a seating bench for an entryway, bedroom, living room or anywhere a low sleek surface is needed. It retains it's original label.

Torbjørn Afdal
Torbjørn Afdal was one of the leading designers at Bruksbo Tegnekontor and in Scandinavia. Afdal became more well known when his furniture was bought by US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and by the Japanese Emperor. In later years, he was granted the commission to design the parliamentary and chairs and tables to the courthouse in Oslo.
