French Pair of Carved Capital Base Side Tables with 20" Diameter Glass Tops
About the Item
A pair of French capital bases, from the early to mid-20th century, with round glass tops. This pair of small-sized coffee tables have been fashioned from a pair of French capital bases, carved with wreathed bow, fluted sides with chandelles, and an oval center plaque with beaded trim. The capital pedestals are raised atop octagonal bases, and topped with a piece of round-shaped clear glass. The tables have a wonderful weathered grey finish, with subtle lighter and darker tones highlighting the carvings and trim. This pair of French coffee tables, with their pleasing and airy design, would be great within living area or sun-room.
