Introducing a truly one-of-a-kind, custom-built coffee table styled after Gio Ponti featuring a polished slab of solid granite as the table top. The intricately carved feet, cut from solid slabs of rich mahogany, give this incredibly heavy and sturdy table a somehow airy feel to it whilst the solid granite provides a mesmerizing kaleidoscope of shapes and colors that is a work of art unto itself.
The frame of the table has been expertly hand-welded from thick quarter inch steel providing an ultra-strong platform to support the mammoth-sized granite top with ease and like the granite top, the craftsmanship of the steelwork is an impressive work of art in and of itself.
With it's incredible mix of materials, artisanship and heavy-duty construction this extraordinary coffee table is perfect for designers and collectors alike searching for an impressive centerpiece that is as unique as it is visually arresting. This impressive, custom-built coffee table is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The mix off solid and veneered mahogany legs and frame show only minor surface scratches (the worst of which can be seen in the detail photos provided) but showing no gouges, stains or chips whatsoever.
The custom, hand-welded metal frame is outrageously strong and heavy and shows no wear whatsoever. The solid, polished granite top is in superb shape showing no cracks, scratches or other damage whatsoever.
This truly one-of-a-kind, custom-built coffee table is functional, structurally solid and ready for a lifetime more of use.
