Bead Round Coffee Table
About the Item
The round Bead coffee table is 42” in diameter and 16” high. The default top is rift-sawn white oak and the bases are solid white oak. Materials, finishes, and sizes may be optioned out at additional cost.
BEAD - This collection is a blend of refinement and irregularity. The bases are carefully beaded at varying thickness and diameter and no profile is the same as the next. Though there is no discernable consistency in the size of each bead, each pedestal aims to match the next with a consistent visual mass. In a whimsical response to the delicate and lightweight characteristics of spindle-turned wood furniture, the Beads collection is heavyhanded, graphic, and without pattern.

Michael Javidi is a multidisciplinary craftsman whose training at the North Bennett Street School’s furniture making program prepared him for a career of wooden boat building.
