Atelier Linné, Ecu Coffee Table
About the Item
The ECU coffee table, created in 2023 by Atelier Linné, is made from an African wood called Limba Superba, recognizable by its dark veins on a blond background. The table has an oblong shape and rests on a recessed solid base. The alternating use of horizontal and vertical wood veneers, as well as the contrast between matte and glossy varnishes, gives this geometrically shaped table an unexpected lightness.
Atelier Linné is a collective of contemporary designers, artists, and artisans. It was founded in 2010 by Anne Jacquemin Sablon. Atelier Linné was born from her experience in art design and her desire to collaborate more with the actors of design and artistic craftsmanship, creating new collaborations that combine know-how and creativity. This collaboration with various stakeholders at the junction of design and contemporary art has given life to a rich and long-lasting collection of furniture, lighting, and accessories with clean lines, crafted from noble materials. Atelier Linné aims to promote French artisans and workshops where the entire collection is manufactured, allowing customers to acquire tailor-made furniture.
