Elegant solid brass and ivory lacquer table with rounded corner beveled glass top very nicely crafted with faux ivory and brass tusks, styled after Tommaso Barbi’s incredible line of ceramic sculptural works, of high-end build and design, circa 1970s.
Designed and handcrafted in Italy, Tomasso Barbi style.

Built from solid 1” thick steel rods and a unique heavily veined marble slab.
A Unique viewing experiences from every angle.
Marble top: 34.5”
Height: 18 3/4”
Base undulates from 34.5” wide to 43” wide
This piece is a conversation of two materials. The curves of the steel are a response to the circumference of the circle of marble. The steel simultaneously mirroring and rejecting the marble’s form—steel jutting towards and away from the marble. At moments surrounding and supporting and other moments pushing against and away from the marble’s surface.
The composition of the steel can also be understood as a moment of action frozen in time—a tightly wound spool of string beginning to unravel.
This work proposes the idea of sculpture as furniture.
