Unusally Large Italian Walnut Centre, Occassional or Writing Table, Genoa Unusual large size with classical elegance and form Conceived as a center table as the frieze decoration is front back and sides Rare brass handle with a pair of intertwined dolphins, suggesting this was made in an area near the sea Tactile with a large 3cm thick, beautifully figured and patinated top In excellent usable condition The beautifully figured and patinated top is in two pieces, one plank is a massive 24” wide both with canted corners. The frieze with moulded decoration front back and sides. The drawer oak lined. The legs displaying a variety of turnings; mushroom, tapering, ring and ball and the 'H' stretcher similarly. Just purchased more information to follow. Measures: L51, D33.
