About the Item

This stunning Biedermeier walnut pedestal table is the best example of top-quality Viennese piece from circa 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
This rare Viennese walnut tilt-top piece is beautifully veneered in walnut. The table top blends lovely with elaborately designed and crafted at the highest level base. The ebonized elements blend beautifully with the lovely amber tone of the walnut veneer.
The table top has a lovely highly figured walnut book-matched veneer accentuated by a deep light amber tone and 200 years old patina.
The piece is in very good condition.
