Hello, We would like to offer you this truly exquisite, early Biedermeier walnut armoire. The piece was made in Vienna circa 1825. Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design. This two door armoire have beautiful highly figured walnut veneer with lovely light deep amber color and 200 years old patina. The large doors of this fine armoire are convex together with ebonized grooved columns which gives a beautiful form to the whole piece. The doors are veneered with beautiful walnut forming a star-shaped form with rays spreading across the entire surface of the doors. This clearly demonstrates the high level of craftsmanship and the selection of the highest quality walnut wood. The brass hardware and lock are original. Pieces of such quality as this fine, exceptional Viennese Biedermeier armoire are very rare and hard to find. Lovely highly figured book matched walnut veneer is just gorgeous. The piece will be a great complement to any elegant interior. It does not matter whether it is a classic or modern interior because Biedermeier is simply timeless.
