Oval Sideboard with Mirror in Walnut, Burl and Ebony Macassar, Italy, 1930s
About the Item
Splendid oval sideboard with mirror made of select walnut burl and framed in Macassar ebony with slight reliefs or protrusions on the body of the sideboard. The cabinet rests on two three-tier plinths finished in Macassar and briarwood complemented with a rounded ebonised profile. The unobtrusive and characterful mirror with two eclectic ebonised fragments on either side as supports. The construction identifies good design and excellent cabinetry. The cabinet is in more than good condition in both function and presence. Some missing fragments in the handles. Height 96 cm, width 180 cm, depth 55 cm, height with mirror 157 cm. Probable production F.lli Cavatorta, Rome 1930s. Slight wear and patina due to age and use, see photos.
Packaging with bubble wrap and cardboard boxes is included. If the wooden packaging is needed (fumigated crates or boxes) for US and International Shipping, it's required a separate cost (will be quoted separately).
