Mid-Century Wall-Hanging Sideboard by Florence Knoll, Knoll international, 1950s

About the Item

Extremely rare wall-hung sideboard (Mod°123) from 1958, designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll International - this version was produced in a small edition by Knoll in Stuttgart in 1958. The sliding doors are covered with natural fiber, sewn leather strips as handles. The body is veneered with light wood on the outside and beech wood on the inside. The sideboard is in very nice vintage condition. The paintwork shows a few scratches. The weave on the doors was damaged and was replaced. On the back there are the original manufacturer's labels as well as the brackets for wall hanging. Äußerst seltene wandhängende Anrichte (Mod°123) von 1958, entworfen von Florence Knoll für Knoll International - diese Version wurde 1958 in einer kleinen Auflage von Knoll in Stuttgart hergestellt. Die Schiebetüren sind mit naturfaser bezogen, genähte Lederstreifen als Griffe. Der Korpus ist außen mit hellem Holz furniert, innen mit Buchenholz. Das Sideboard ist in sehr schönem Vintage-Zustand. Die Lackierung zeigt ein paar Kratzer, Das Geflecht auf den Türen war beschädigt und wurde erneuert. Auf der Rückseite befinden sich die Original-Etiketten des Herstellers sowie die Halterungen für die Wandaufhängung.
