Long Oak Sideboard Buffet, circa 1905

About the Item

Made of quality European oak and designed with superior craftsmanship, this lengthy sideboard buffet has a footprint of nearly seven feet. Comprised of three drawers over three doors, it has a wealth of storage. The sideboard features a beveled top, canted corners, double pointed arched panel doors with decorative escutcheons, and brass Chippendale-style hardware on the drawers. The center drawer was clearly used for eating and serving utensils with its nine compartments covered in blue felt. Raised on block feet, the sideboard's height is 44 inches, which is ideal for displaying decorative items like vases and framed photos, while also providing serving space during dinner parties or gatherings.
