English William IV Rosewood Chiffonier / Bookcase
About the Item
Sn5604 Fine quality and very attractive antique, early XIXth century rosewood bookcase / two door sideboard, having architectural and finely carved upstand to the back, well figured oversailing top and frieze drawer above a pair of glazed doors fitted with original working lock and a key, enclosing one short and one long height adjustable shelves, all flanked by reeded half columns with tulip carved capitals, all standing on plinth base. This antique side cabinet / display cabinet retains its original finish which has been revived and waxed, original patina and mellow colour, all in home ready condition. c1830
