19th Century Sheraton Style Mahogany Sideboard for Restoration

About the Item

With a tall top and apron with two short drawers flanking a long drawer. The burled cabinet below with a deep drawer on the left side, the right side deep drawer with bottle storage compartments. With hammered oval brass pulls and key escutcheons (lacking a key). They flank a recessed center cabinet with double doors. The sides made of two panels. Raised on square tapering legs. Dimensions: L. 64 1/2", Depth 20 1/2", H. 41 1/2" Condition: Please see detail photos. for restoration. The Sideboard is distressed with various signs of age including some green patination to the pulls, timeworn burns, cracks, rings, scratches and nicks to the top surface, stable age cracks to the sides, wear to the edges, wear and scrapes to the legs and a few spots of missing veneer, the top right brass pull dented, gouge on the back. While some level of restoration may be desired and the aforementioned wear seems extensive, the details are for accuracy and the Sideboard is authentic and retains an elegant and refined presentation.
