19th Century English Regency Rosewood & Brass Tiered Sideboard

About the Item

A spectacular english regency period sideboard / server with three tiered back support (which detaches from bottom). Executed in fine rosewood detailing, brass rail trim to top, chicken wire caged door (linen can be removed). Distressed mirror backing and tons of interior space for storage. 37.75” to server edge 10.5” lowest tier 9.5” middle tier

Classic English Regency, this handsome mahogany stepdown sideboard features two large deep drawers and one center hidden drawer at top and two larger drawers beside; one with a lead liner for decanters. There are two four-paneled doors at bottom flanked with spiral reeded columns. This very substancial piece stands on eight turned feet and retains the original brasses and keys. This is a superb antique English Regency flame mahogany shaped serpentine bowfront sideboard, Circa 1820 in date. It is crossbanded, bordered with ebony lines and fitted with a central frieze drawer above a recessed arched apron drawer. It is flanked by two short drawers to one side and a cellarette drawer to the other. It has superb decorative brass foliate anthemion ring handles and is raised on elegant ring turned tapered legs. Fitted with working locks and keys. Add an elegant touch to a special place in your home with this superb antique sideboard.
