About the Item

Beautiful craftsmanship Louis Philippe abattant secretary desk in a walnut cherry wood with exterior front inlay with farmscapes, castle and flowers marquetry details. The secretary features lot of storage drawers above fall-front, followed by additional lower part space storage shelves. Fall-front opens to a desk with a central cubbyhole, with more storage drawer above and below. The white marble top is removable to easy access for shipping. The secretary is in good antique condition with appropriate wear consistent with age / use. Restored top . The secretary measures : 41" wide x 16 1/2" deep (closed) x 64 1/2" high. Height from floor to the desk surface: 31 1/2".
