Simultaneously minimal and stylish this exceptional writers desk, designed by Harry Lundstead, is the very epitome of Modern Contemporary Design. With its sleek, thoughtful and hidden details this desk is ideal for those short on space but unwilling to compromise on character and form. Known for his unique use of acid-etching solid bronze coupled with natural materials like oak and birch Harry Lunstead produced limited sets of small-batch, hand-made furniture in the Seattle area from the mid 70s to 80s. This intricate process is on full display in this writers desk with an oak top featuring exceptional woodgrains, a minimalist single box drawer and solid acid-etched bronze frame and legs. Make it yours today before it's gone forever. ---Dimensions--- Width: 47.25 in / 120.02 cm Depth: 27 in / 68.58 cm Height: 28 in / 71.12 cm Condition Details: This exceptional writer's desk is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The oak desk top and drawer box are in very good shape showing only a few minor surface scratches and small area of minor discoloration (which can be seen in the detail photos provided). The solid acid-etched bronze frame and legs is in superb vintage condition showing no rust, deep scratches or other damage and the single drawer (sized to store files) opens and closes with ease.
