About the Item

Introducing a rare, vintage 'Signatur' executive desk designed by the influential Tord Bkorklund for IKEA. Constructed from a mix of honey oak and chrome and set on adjustable plastic feet this desk was designed with functionality in mind. In remarkably superb original condition this impressive piece offers both style and purpose and as able to adjust from a height of 27" to a total height of 29.5" in mere seconds. All drawers have polished chrome pulls. There are three left facing storage drawers and two are right facing, one of which is a file drawer. A favorite design by lovers of Tord Bjorklund and early IKEA designs - Make it yours today and transform your office space to new aesthetic heights. Note: Chair is not included in this listing and is sold separately. ---Dimensions--- Width: 57.5 in / 146.05 cm Depth: 31.75 in / 80.65 cm Height: 29.5 in / 74.93 cm This splendid writing desk is in 100% original, vintage condition and has aged to perfection! The solid honey oak top is in remarkably excellent condition showing only minor surface scratches. The chrome is also in fantastic condition showing only minor signs of light tarnishing but no pitting, rust or peeling at all. All six drawers open and close with ease. The original key and lock function on the left side of the desk however, the locking mechanism for the right-side drawers is in need of repair (we can have this repair made if desired at cost). This fabulous desk is highly functional, structurally sound and ready for decades more of use. Please view all photos and video for details on this versatile desk's current condition.
