Italian 18th Century Louis XV Period Walnut, Rosewood and Bone Desk

About the Item

A fine Italian 18th century Louis XV period walnut, rosewood, and boneTuscan desk. The desk is raised on cabriole legs below the wide central drawer and pullout with a leather writing surface. The rectangular top has cut corners and rosewood amongst walnut with a geometric bone inlaid design. All original ormolu pull and keyhole escutcheon with warm patina throughout.
