Antique Neo-Egyptian French Empire Style Desk
About the Item
This mahogany desk in the French Empire style features extensive gilt bronze mounts on every face. Its craftsmanship is very high, comparable to works by Maison Krieger. The drawers have hand-cut dovetails, we have the original key and the locks are in fine working order. The brown leather top is not original and is in good condition. The neoclassical bronze mask missing from our photos is available and will be professionally installed prior to shipment.
