19th Century English Mahogany Partners Desk

About the Item

Distinctive and elegant, this English mahogany partners desk has 9 functioning drawers on one side and 3 drawers over two cabinet doors on the opposite side. Please enlarge photos to appreciate the attractive rich mahogany grain, accented with a brown leather writing surface. Note the gold embossed edging which shows wear from use, and minor separation at two seams where the leather was fit together to form the top. Restored, strong and ready for use. All drawers function with brass pulls (no keys). All scratches, cracks, dings, stains and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this large desk. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
