Pair of Italian 18th Century Louis XV St. Italian Chests

About the Item

A very elegant and high quality pair of Italian 18th century Louis XV period walnut and kingwood chests from Naples. Each chest is raised by fine tapered legs with lovely fitted wrapped brass sabots. Above the arbalest shaped frieze are two drawer, each decorated with striking quarter veneered designs showcasing the beautiful wood grain. Above are the original gray marble tops which display a fine mottled border and repeat the shape of the chest below.
