Original Brown Painted Pine Chest of Three Drawers, Sweden circa 1820-40
About the Item
The simple lines of this charming pine chest of three drawers with tapered fluted feet are reflective of its Swedish country styling.
The original rust colored painted finish is complimented with a gray/blue faux marble top which was a traditional artistic element of the era. Note the distress to the finish reveals generations of use, with the paint worn down to the natural pine wood below in many areas, especially the top.
Restored, the drawers function with two brass pulls on each and the case is sturdy - ready to be used and enjoyed.
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation(see corners, top, etc.) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this charming chest of drawers.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
