This is a wooden drawer made of cedar wood from the Meiji and Taisho periods (circa 1868-1920) in Japan. The warm texture peculiar to cedar wood stands out, and the rustic simplicity of the construction gives it a deep, unique antique flavor. It is rare to find cedar wood with such a rich atmosphere, and the beauty of the natural wood tones and textures created by the aging process is its greatest appeal.
