French Louis XVI Style King Wood, Exotic Woods Demilune Commode
About the Item
Early 20th century marble-top commode made with various exotic woods;
King wood, tulip wood and satinwood are combined to create intricate
Marquetry patterns. Floral and urn design decorate the front drawers
And a geometric pattern decorates the doors flanking either side .
Bronze dore appliqués are applied to enhance the total cabinet.
A rose beige marble top is in lovely condition.
