An exceptional bamboo ten drawer commode, circa 1970. Beautiful case design with handsome brass hardware. Diagonally applied split bamboo veneer over mahogany case construction. Stout and expertly made with painstaking attention to detail. The back of the piece is completely finished, allowing it to float in a room if desired. A stunning room anchor that introduces warmth and texture. Excellent restored condition. The case has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish displays wonderful range of color, depth and luster. There are a match pair of these pieces available. The price listed is for one (1) chest.
