Antique French Ebonized Louis XV Style Commode Completely Restored c1800's
About the Item
Antique French Ebonized Louis XV Style Commode or French Dresser that just came out of our Restoration department and is ready for immediate delivery. Our Antique Ebonized French Commode was stripped down to the bare wood and an old-fashioned black Ebonized finish was applied, while each drawer was made to operate smooth as it was originally intended. The beautiful marble top does not show any visual signs of any prior repairs, although there are numerous light surface scratches as one might expect from a Commode of this age.

Antique French Louis XVI Style Bookcase, or if you prefer, Antique French Ebonized Bibliotheque made from solid mahogany over 100-years ago to a very high standard. We have had our share of antique, or supposed to be Antique French mahogany Louis XVI style bookcases, however most tend to be constructed during the 1950’s. This Antique French Ebonized Bookcase is the real deal and is a genuine antique, which our inhouse Old Plank restoration department beautifully restored, with an old school ebonized finish. The French Louis XVI bookcase was completely disassembled (makes for easy ingress and egress), hand-stripped to the bare mahogany wood, restored as necessary and refinished in this deep black Napoleon III style ebonized and brass exterior.
