Pair Mid 19th C Italian Bologna Region White Painted Cabinets

About the Item

Found in Italy, this pair of cabinets from the Bologna region date from approximately the 1840s. Each cabinet has a rustic white painted finish with a painted pale gray diamond pattern on the cabinet doors and sides as well as outlined trim on the drawer fronts and top. Each cabinet has two locking top drawers with dovetail construction and a lower storage cabinet with two hinged locking doors and a single, fixed internal shelf. One cabinet has 2 original keys and one cabinet has a single key. Unknown maker. Sold and priced as a pair.
