Pair Art Deco Burr Fronted Bedside Cabinets With Marble Tops 1930s
About the Item
A true pair of Art Deco matching burr fronted bedside cabinets/sofa tables with inset marble tops. Circa 1930s.
These beautiful cabinets have been sympathetically re-finished by hand in a shellac sealer. They have a smooth waxed finish, but still retain a few light authentic marks to highlight their genuine heritage.
The marble tops have beautiful pinkish decorative veining.
The cabinets are veneered in mahogany and burr, with solid mahogany edging and plinths. They have the original aluminium and brass roundel front handles.
The interiors each have a neat top drawer, lined in oak with dovetail construction, and a shelf below.
The cupboard doors and drawers all work well. The doors have ball catches to securely close.
