George Nelson Custom Hanging Walnut Cabinet from a National Historical Building

About the Item

A two door Nelson walnut hanging cabinet with woven cane fronts and brass hardware, having a beveled bottom edge to the doors for ease of opening and folding to the top. Inside the box there's great flamed grained walnut to the back of this very well crafted cabinet . These were special ordered for an important Eero Saarinen building with interiors by Alexander Girard and furniture by George Nelson that's on the National Historical registry in Columbus Indiana home of one of the most important collections of Mid Century architecture . Manufactured by the Herman Miller Furniture Company , the cabinet does not including any hardware for hanging .
